Keep Arkansas Beautiful is a community-driven effort to preserve and restore Arkansas’ natural beauty through eco-restoration, education, volunteerism, cleanups, recycling, coalition-building and advocacy.
As a division of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism, we are a trusted resource for Arkansans ready to engage in environmental stewardship.
Our core mission is simple — to create a cleaner, greener state by empowering Arkansas to take action. If we work together, we can protect what we love most about The Natural State.

What is Eco-Restoration?
Eco-restoration means going beyond conservation to actively restore ecosystems and reinvigorate communities. We believe it’s our place to do just that. We also believe that healthy environments make for healthier, happier people — residents and travelers alike. So team up, get proactive, and take part in eco-restoration efforts wherever you are.

"Arkansas is called The Natural State for a reason, but litter threatens that beauty.
That’s why Keep Arkansas Beautiful is so important. Through litter prevention, recycling education, and beautification efforts, this initiative helps protect the wild places we love.
When we all pitch in, we can keep Arkansas beautiful for ourselves and future generations."
